Eyebrow rings are up and coming styles of body piercing

Which  celebrity  has your favorite eyebrow ring? Britney Spears Bill Kaulitz from Tokyo Hotel? How about Amy Lee of Evanesence? Do you want famous people ~to achieve a similar look and wonder what getting an eyebrow ring entails}? To answer that here are a couple Questions and Answers to help you:

Q. Does getting an eyebrow ring hurt {much ~ painful}
A. Getting an eyebrow ring is not as painful as getting a tongue ring

Q.How {much time will it take to heal? ~ How much time  until I can switch my eyebrow ring? }
A. An eyebrow ring piercing takes about 6 to 8 weeks to heal– a shorter   time than other piercings on the face because eyebrow rings tend to not be tampered with. Just to be safe: Don’t take your eyebrow ring out of the hole for very long as it will close up within a few days if you do.

Q. Can I get my eyebrow ring placed anywhere on my eyebrow?
A. Yes, but the most common area is along the outer edge. eyebrow rings should only be pierced along the outer edge of the eyebrow because there are 3 occiptal nerves directly above the eye– snagging one of these can lead to permanent damage.

Q. Is eyebrow ring piercing an ancient tradition?
A. Not quite the same. eyebrow rings, like other surface piercings, are a fairly new new practice.

Q. What kind of body jewelry can I wear on my brow?
A. Barbells, curved or ‘banana’ bars and captive bead eyebrow rings are the most common.

Q. Convinced now?
A. Yes.

So you are set on getting an eyebrow rings. Making the decision takes a lot more thinking than the actual piercing procedure.  Before you run right out to a piercing parlor do a bit of research — Ask peers or even strangers with piercings you admire where they got theirs done done . Make certain your piercer is a pro with clean practices such as using one-time needles and throwing them away after piercing. Needle? That’s Right! Having your eyebrow pierced with a needle is a much safer bet than having it done with one of those mall-style piercing guns which tend to shatter tissue rather than pierce a clean hole through the eyebrow.

Be prepared for 6 to 10 weeks of post-care. Unlike other piercings, eyebrows do not require a lot of complicated things like soaking and rotating the eyebrow ring. Since eyebrow rings tend to stay out of the way, and are not restricted or irritated by clothes they tend to heal quickly with only rare cases of infection.  Still, you should have a small supply if non-iodized sea salt and bottled water to dab the piercing with, especially if a crust forms on the eyebrow ring. This crusty substance is generally harmless and formed when natural bodily secretions are oozed as a reaction to the trauma of piercing. If your brow gets bright red or starts to stink, you may have an infection and should seek medical attention to treat it.

All things considered, getting an eyebrow ring is relatively easy and any pain is minimal.  With right care it will last forever giving you that hot celebrity look you want.
